Sharing your screens on iOS doesn’t have to be a pain

Think you can’t use your tablet to share screens with your co-workers? Think again. There are several apps available right now than enable you to share your reports, images, documents and videos with co-workers and friends. With these screen-sharing apps, you won’t even miss that heavier laptop. Whatever screen sharing it can do, your tablet can now do, too. But which screen-sharing apps for iOS should you download? Miguel Leiva-Gomez, a writer for the tech site smallbiz technology, recommends three that should handle all of your screen-sharing needs.

Join.me

Leiva-Gomez starts his review with join.me for a good reason. Simply put, it’s one of the best screen-sharing apps for iOS currently out there. You will, though, need to pay for the program’s “pro” version to use it. Once you pay out the monthly fee of just under $20, though, you’ll have the ability to share your screen with co-workers and friends with ease. The program also comes with such goodies as Internet calling, instant chat and file sharing.

Air Sketch

Leiva-Gomez has positive things to say, too, about Air Sketch. This app lets users turn their tablets into whiteboards. Users can tap five different writing tools to maneuver these boards. They can also use the application to open up PDFs and other files. The application displays every image, report and document in real time. This, naturally, creates an environment perfectly suited to work collaboration.

Conference Pad

Conference Pad is a simple but effective screen-sharing program, one that Leiva-Gomez gives high marks. Users can open and share PDFs and documents with simply a few taps. The application also offers some impressive zooming features, allowing users to zoom without having to sacrifice any image quality.
