Appriver's spam filtering service is a suite of utilities that provides for a customizable level of spam screening, virus protection, management tools and reporting. The six core components are outlines below:

Gate Watcher

Appriver's service provides a gated front door to shield and conceal your messaging infrastructure from all manner of attacks. When a messaging platform is visible to the Internet, it is open to a growing number of threats. Appriver's Gate Watcher provides protection from all forms of the following attack categories:

Spam Filter

Appriver SecureTide filtering service's approach to spam identification is to use a blend of the best filtering techniques and apply them to every message. The test results are then integrated using a dynamic scoring engine, which provides a likelihood that the message is spam. This approach makes it easy to take action based on different classes of junk. For example, messages that have a high spam probability can be deleted, medium probability messages can be quarantined while low probability email can be tagged for client side filtering.
